Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in after 4:00 PM; Check-out before 11:00 AM.

Advance Deposits

A credit card deposit is required to confirm all reservations. The deposit for a for one-night stay is 100% of the total and 50% of the total for 2 or more nights. The remaining balance, if any, will be charged to the credit card 14 days prior to the morning of arrival. All reservation confirmations are subject to our receipt of your deposit, which will be applied to the last night(s) of your reservation.

Gift Cards for Payment: All reservations require a credit card on file. When using an Emerson Inn gift card, the Inn will apply gift card to reservation and remaining balance will be charged to the credit card at time of booking. If there is no remaining balance the Inn will pre authorize the credit card on file for incidentals in the amount of $100.00 which will be refunded at check-out if no charges have been applied to folio.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so up to 14 days prior to arrival. You will receive a full refund of your deposit less a $45 processing fee. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, the deposit will not be refunded. Shortening your stay will count as a cancellation, and you will be charged for the full stay if changed it within 14-days of your arrival or during your stay. Groups of 3 rooms or more require a 30-day cancellation and are subject to the same fees as above.

Payment

We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. We require all charges and incidentals to be guaranteed by a credit card even when paying cash.

Room Rates

All rates are per room, per night, double occupancy, and are subject to Massachusetts rooms tax (currently 11.7%). Most rooms cannot accommodate more than two (2) guests. Where triple or quad occupancy is possible, the charge for each extra Adult is $75 per night plus tax; the charge for each extra Child (ages 4-15) is $25 per night plus tax; and each extra child under the age of 3 is free of charge. All extra persons, regardless of age, must be arranged in advance. Triple and quad occupancy is not bookable online; please contact us directly at 978-546-6321.

Swimming Pool

Our outdoor, ocean-view pool is heated and open seasonally for all guests.

Breakfast

A full breakfast is available onsite and can be enjoyed in the restaurant, parlor, or overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the veranda. Breakfast hours and menus will be available upon check-in. Breakfast is included for 2, only with direct booking through TheEmersonInn.com site. Breakfast may be purchased for those not booking directly, pricing available upon check-in.

Dining and Entertainment

Our Parlor Bar Bistro is open. Check our calendar for our opening hours, entertainment schedule, special events and prix fixed dinners.

Pets

We do allow dogs with certain restrictions (weight limit is 25 pounds), and you must call to book a dog friendly room. Click here to learn more about our dog policy.

Smoking

Due to the historic nature of our beautiful Inn, we are a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the building, on the veranda or grounds. Smoking in any of these areas will result in a $500.00 fine per occasion.

No Elevator

Due to the historic nature of our property, there is no elevator at The Emerson Inn, but we are more than happy to carry your luggage to your room. If climbing stairs is a challenge, we do have accommodations available on the first floor. Please contact us directly at 978-546-6321 to book an accessible room.

Items Left Behind

We are pleased to mail personal items left behind after your departure. Please understand that we will bill your credit card on file for any shipping and handling charges as well as a packing fee.
